Instructions

    • 1

Wipe across terrazzo tile with a dust mop, a broom or a cleaning rag. Do this one to two times per week to remove loose dust and buildup.

    • 2

Dampen a cleaning rag or mop with plain water, wring the mop or rag out, and wipe over the terrazzo weekly to remove sticky buildup.

    • 3

Mix a cleaning solution for heavier areas of residue. For terrazzo backsplashes and countertops, mix 2 cups water and 1/2 tsp. dish soap in a spray bottle, or mix 1 gallon water with 2 tbsp. dish soap in a bucket for terrazzo floors.

    • 4

Dip a mop in the mixture, wring out and wipe over your floors. For terrazzo backsplashes, countertops and shower areas, spray the solution directly onto the surface and wipe off with a damp cleaning rag.

    • 5

Let the terrazzo air dry. Spray with a stone cleaner if any residue remains, and wipe the solution off the terrazzo with a damp cleaning rag or mop.
