How to Season a Calphalon Wok
Calphalon is a leading provider of cookware, including woks. Woks are most often used for Asian meals, such as stir-fry, where the food is cooked quickly at a high heat. A Calphalon wok should be seasoned before the first use. The seasoning creates a protective barrier over the interior cooking surfaces and prevents sticking and scorching of the food. Since Calphalon woks are initially nonstick to begin with, the seasoning process is less extensive than on other types of cookware. Does this Spark an idea?
