How to Disassemble the Wand on a Rainbow Vacuum
Rainbow vacuums are vacuums that use water in a basin rather than a dust canister or bag to collect vacuumed dirt, hair and other debris. You can suction dirt from surfaces with or without the Rainbow vacuum's wand assembly that attaches to the handle. Typically, the wand consists of one or more tubes locked together with push-button locks, an attachment at the end and possibly an attachment caddy snapped to it. Attachments vary and include nonelectric and electric attachments such as a floor and wall brush, a power nozzle, an upholstery tool, a crevice tool and a dusting brush. Does this Spark an idea?

Press in on the locking button where the top straight wand connects to the short curved or straight wand on the handle. If you have an electric attachment such as the power nozzle connected to the wand assembly, unplug the cord from the socket on the handle first. Pull the wand assembly from the handle.

Repeat the unlocking process with the two wand pieces and pull the pieces apart, if applicable. If you have the attachment caddy hooked onto a section of the wand, twist it carefully off the wand.
