Remove washed or dried items from the washer and dryer and put them aside. Hold a clean cloth under running water until it's saturated. Squeeze the cloth firmly to remove all excess water.

Wipe the insides of both the washer and dryer with the damp cloth to remove the hair. If there is an abundance of hair, you will need to dampen a new cloth to avoid transferring the hair back into the appliance.

  • Wipe hair covered items with a dry fabric softener sheet before laundering. This will keep your appliances from getting hair in them.
