The dash light bulbs in your Hyundai Getz must be kept in the best possible condition to provide you with information needed when taking your vehicle on the road. If you notice that any of the bulbs have worn out or broken, you should replace them immediately before. You can pick up replacement bulbs from your local auto parts store.

Step 1

Find the battery underneath the hood of your Getz. Loosen the clamp which attaches the negative cable to the battery terminal with a wrench. Remove the negative cable from the terminal.

Step 2

Enter the driver's seat. Press in the locking tabs behind the steering wheel which allow you to alter the height of the wheel. Move the steering wheel to its lowest point to give you the best access to the dash panel.

Step 3

Locate the rubber bezel around the edges of the dash instrument panel. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws which hold it in place. Pull the bezel from around the panel.

Step 4

Remove the three screws which fix the panel to the dash. Slide the panel slightly out of the dash to gain access to the rear wiring. Remove the electrical connector from the rear to fully remove the instrument panel. Place the panel on a clear work surface.

Step 5

Isolate the damaged bulbs in the instrument panel and screw them in a counterclockwise direction until they come free from the panel. Replace the bulbs with new bulbs by screwing them in the opposite direction. Reattach the instrument panel to the dash by following the removal steps in reverse.
