Air freshener sprays mask unpleasant odors, which causes the odor to return once the air freshener's perfume dissipates. Odor Fog is a commercial odor neutralizer that is safe to use in the home, as well as in cars, and dispenses a mist to reach cracks and crevices where odors tend to reside. As with any chemical, the affected room should be well ventilated to reduce exposure to the odor neutralizer.
Things You'll Need
- Odor Fog
- Cleaning cloth
Remove the cap from the Odor Fog canister, and aim the spray nozzle 10 to 12 inches from the odorous area.
Push down on the top of the spray can, and spray the area for three to four seconds.
Allow the mist the settle into the affected area, then blot the area dry with a clean, lint-free cloth.
Open the windows of the car or room, and allow it to air out for up to two hours to clear out the smell.
