Homemade Organic Floor Cleaner for Laminate Floors
Laminate floors need cleaning often to remove dirt and grime. If you do not clean the floor often, the dirt can dull the finish and cause the laminate to wear and tear. Cleaning the laminate floor weekly will help keep it in good condition. Harsh abrasive cleaners can damage the laminate floor, and commercial cleaners often are not good for the environment. Combine 2 cups of white distilled vinegar with 2 cups of warm water in a bucket. Add 1 cup of lemon juice to help mask the vinegar odor if you desire.

Soak a mop in the solution. Wring the mop out well so that it remains damp. Alternatively, you can place the solution into a spray bottle and apply the mixture to small sections of the floor.

Mop the floor with the solution in small sections. Rinse the mop in the solution and continue to wring out the excess liquid.

Apply a dry mop to the floor to remove any excess solution. A microfiber mop will make the drying process easier.

Tips & Warnings
Avoid soaking the laminate floor with too much water because it can soak into the wood underneath and cause it to warp.
