How to Connect a Dodge Durango Factory Radio to a Motorola Antenna

The majority of car stereos, both OEM and aftermarket, use a Motorola-style antenna plug. However a few manufacturers, in particular Chrysler, use antenna connectors that are a slightly different size than the Motorola standard. If you have an antenna with a Motorola-style connector on the end of the antenna cable, you can easily overcome the size obstacle by using a readily-available adapter.

    • 3

Plug the male Motorola plug on the end of the antenna cable into the female Motorola plug on the adapter.
