Instructions for a M54 Simplex Cabinet Lock
Cabinet locks, such as Simplex model cabinet locks, are ideal if you want to prevent children or others from getting into cabinets with sensitive and/or dangerous materials, such as bleach or medicine. These are push-button locks, meaing that they require no key. The good news is that they don't take long to figure out how to lose. Does this Spark an idea?

Locate the keypad just above the door handle. Enter the personal combination you chose when the lock was installed on your door. The door will then unlock.

Open the door. Once it's closed enter the personal code again to lock it. Proceed to the next step if you want to change your personal code.

Insert the tip of a Phillips screwdriver into the circular hole on the top of the lock and press down until you depress an internal pin. The lock will be in "change" mode. Enter the old combination.

Enter a new combination on the keypad and the pin will release. The new combination is now set.
