1
Find a good Norwegian grammar book to use. Norwegian grammar, like the English grammar, is bound by rules. It's best to find a good book to learn it the easy way.
-
2
Study the nouns. Unlike the English grammar where only two genders exist (masculine and feminine), the Norwegian grammar technically has three noun genders: masculine, feminine and neuter, but only two articles are used: "en" for common gender and "et" for neuter. "Ei" is also sometimes used for a few feminine nouns. After the gender articles, study the singular and plural forms of the nouns.

3
Study the verbs. The verbs in Norwegian grammar are classified into two: strong verbs and weak verbs. Like the English grammar, they are also classified into tenses. Master the tenses and the strength classification of the verbs, as these will indicate how good you are with Norwegian grammar.
-
4
Take tests for self-assessment and evaluation. There are a lot of websites offering online Norwegian grammar tests. Use them as your practice. It's also a good idea to download some language software programs and MP3 or podcasts for additional practice and join Norwegian language study group/forum for help and support from other learners like you.
