Make a glue to attach gumpaste figures to fondant-covered cakes.

Gumpaste and fondant are both used as cake decorations. Cake decorators will work with both in the same way an artist employs mixed media to get the desired look for his masterpiece. Gumpaste differs from fondant in its drying speed. Gumpaste will harden as it dries overnight, but fondant remains pliable. Gumpaste is also stronger than fondant, easier to shape and holds the shape of figures longer, making it an ideal medium for creating decorative sculptures to attach to a fondant-covered cake. To attach the two, you need to make an edible gum glue using some of your extra gumpaste. Does this Spark an idea?
