Things You'll Need

  • 2 cups instant oatmeal
  • 3 ounces strawberry Jell-o
  • 1 cup water
  • Ziploc plastic bag
  • Large bowl
  • Spoon
  • Combine the instant oatmeal, strawberry Jell-o and water in large bowl.

  • Stir the ingredients together until well blended.

  • Pour the mixture into a plastic bag and seal tightly.

  • Press the mixture into a flat slab and let it sit for two to three days.

  • Roll the mixture into marble-sized balls and attach one ball to each hook to use as bait.

Tips & Warnings

  • If the mixture does not hold together well, try rolling it into individual balls and chilling them in the refrigerator for one hour to help them set.
