Uploading videos to YouTube is not a difficult process. You may have discovered, however, that larger files often seem to stall out. This is because YouTube will only allow files less than 100MB to be uploaded in the standard way. Unfortunately, YouTube doesn't make it clear that this is the case, so many people end up watching the "uploading" bar, waiting for an end that will never come. Avoid this dilemma by following the steps below.
Step 1
Sign in to YouTube as you normally would when you want to upload files. Then click on your user name at the top of the screen.

Click "Upload" in the top menu to go to the uploader screen. Keep in mind that this is where you have to do things differently.
Step 3
Look to the right-hand side of the screen. There, in what looks like an advertisement, are actually the instructions for uploading large files, but few people notice them.
Step 4
Click on the "Use Multi-video Uploader" button under the text, "Upload Files Larger Than 100MB or Upload Many Files at Once."
Step 5
Follow the on screen instructions that appear. You will have to download and install a special web browser component that YouTube will install. You will be asked which browsers to install it to, so be sure to click on each browser that you use for YouTube.
Step 6
Return to the "Upload" screen after installation is complete. Again, click on the "Use Multi-video Uploader" button.
Step 7
Click the button marked "Add Videos to List" on the new screen. You can now add as many videos as you would like, and they can be of any size. YouTube will then start to upload them in the order listed on screen. You can also see exactly how far along each file is to be sure that no files have stalled out.
