How to Set the Sunroof on My 2000 Range Rover

The 2000 Range Rover is a full-size luxury Sport Utility Vehicle, or SUV, manufactured and sold by Land Rover of the United Kingdom. The SUV features a sunroof that allows owners the freedom to add an overhead breeze to their ride. The sunroof can be set to open fully or tilt up with one-touch of the sunroof switch. Operate the sunroof switch to set the one-touch feature and begin enjoying your sunroof with ease.

      Close all doors. All doors of the vehicle must be in the closed position for the sunroof to operate.

      Turn the ignition to the "I" or "II" position. The sunroof works for up to 45 seconds after the ignition has been turned off.

      Tilt the sunroof. Press and hold the lower part of the sunroof switch located in the center console. Release the switch when the sunroof is at the desired position. Press and hold the upper part of the sunroof switch to close the sunroof.

      Open the sunroof. Press and hold the upper part of the sunroof switch. Release the switch when the sunroof is at the desired position. Press and hold the lower portion of the switch to close the sunroof. Once completed, an audible warning sounds and a message of "Sunroof Set" appears in the display on the dashboard. The sunroof is set for one-touch use.
