How to Upload & Organize Photos
Saving and uploading your photos to your computer and online is a simple and free way to preserve your memories and share them with your family and friends. Photo hosting websites are available for free and also allow users to create digital scrapbooks to better organize their memories and pictures. You can also organize photos directly on your computer's hard drive if you prefer.

Open your computer's Internet browser (such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, or Google Chrome) and visit a well-known photo hosting website such as Flickr or Photobucket. (See References.)

Register for a free or paying subscription account. Some websites with subscription services offer users unlimited bandwidth, photo space and photo albums. Review each of the website's services and policies before choosing one to sign up with.

Browse to your email address and click the verification link to fully activate your membership with the photo hosting and sharing website.

Log into the photo sharing website. Once you are logged into the website, browse and select "Upload Photos" or "Create a New Photo Album" (depending on the website). You will then be prompted to locate files and photos on your computer that you would like to upload.

Select a photo to upload from your computer's hard drive. To upload more than one photo at a time (if allowed), hold "CTRL" down on your keyboard while choosing multiple photos before uploading. Allow the photos to upload to the website's servers, which may take a few minutes depending on your connection and the web server's overall speed

Create a "Photo Album." Click "Edit" or "Organize" to begin placing them in the order you desire. Once the album editor appears, move your photos to their appropriate positions within the albums, then select "Save" to complete the organization preferences.

Send the links provided from the photo hosting website to share your albums and photo memories with your to your family and friends and across the Web.
