How to Sell My Swiss Dinar

How to Sell My Swiss Dinar thumbnail
Swiss Dinar circulated throughout Iraq prior to Operation Desert Storm in 1991.

The Swiss Dinar takes its name from the Swiss-made plates used in the printing of the pre-1990 version of the Iraqi national currency. Following the U.S.-led coalition invasion of Kuwait in1991, the Iraqi government renamed the Swiss Dinar the Saddam Dinar, a currency that saw great fluctuation in value along with increased demand for purchase. The cause of the demand revolves around Westerners looking to profit from a forseen post-war investment in the gulf nation. Currently, private investors and note holders can exchange all versions of the currency through a number of channels.
