How to Adjust the Sunroof on a Bonneville

The Bonneville is a full-size sedan which was manufactured and sold by Pontiac. The car was produced from 1957 to 2005. Some models of the Bonneville feature a sunroof. The sunroof can be opened and closed by the use of a push button located inside the vehicle. The sunroof may be opened to several positions to allow owners to adjust and control the comfort of the amount of air and sun allowed into the vehicle.

Instructions

      Turn the Bonneville on. Insert the key into the ignition and turn to the "On" position.

      Press and hold the "Sunroof" switch back to the first position. The sunroof switch is located in the overhead headliner between the sun visors. The first position opens the sunshade and glass panel.

      Press and release the switch back to the second position to open the sunroof to the comfort stop position. This position opens the glass to a position that is designed to reduce noise and allow air into the car that is comfortable for passengers.

      Press the sunroof in any direction when opening and the sunroof immediately stops at that position.

      Press and hold the sunroof switch for more than one and half seconds and the sunroof opens all the way.

      Press and hold the sunroof switch forward to close the sunroof.

      Push the sunroof switch upward to open the sunroof glass to the vent position. The sunroof must first be all the way closed. The vent position opens the sunroof by tilting it.
