1
Add a vinaigrette to your salad to enhance the taste of the vegetables. Heavy dressings, such as ranch and blue cheese, take away the healthy benefits of your salad by making it fattening. To make a healthy vinaigrette, all you need is olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice and mustard mixed together. To make the salad taste better, add chopped fresh fruit, such as strawberries or apples.

2
Make guacamole to complement beans. Beans are a healthy way of obtaining protein, fiber and energy, but can be tasteless on their own. Use fresh guacamole, instead of pre-mixed guacamole, as that will contain a lot of preservatives and salt. In order to make guacamole, take an avocado, mash it, and mix it with crushed garlic, chopped onions and cilantro.

Toast nuts instead of eating them raw. Packaged nuts often have a lot of salt or sugar to make them taste better, but that also makes them less healthy. However, you can enjoy the healthy benefit of nuts without having to forfeit taste. Toast the nuts in an oven for 4 to 6 minutes at 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Pine nuts, walnuts and pecans taste especially good this way. You can also add nuts to a fruit salad or a vegetable salad.

Add sugar-free apple juice as a sweetener to other juices. Juices such as pomegranate, cranberry and prune juice contain a high amount of antioxidants, but are usually very sour in taste. Instead of adding sugar, add apple juice as a natural sweetener.
