How to Make Your Own Senior Graduation Invitation Cards

Senior graduation invitation cards can be made by using template galleries that are located in your computer software or on template websites. Microsoft and Google Docs contain free galleries offering templates that you can customize with your own personalized text and images. Zazzle also offers customizable invitations for a set price. Once you have created your senior graduation invitation cards, save them so you can print or edit them at a later date.

Instructions

Microsoft Word 2010

1. Open Microsoft Word and click the "File" tab; select "New." Type "Invitation Cards." View the available graduation invitation cards. Download the graduation invitation card by clicking the template image and the "Download" button.

2. Highlight the default text and type your own personalized graduation message. Include details like your school's graduation address and time.

3. Add your own image by right clicking the default template image and selecting "Change Picture." Search your computer for the image you want to use. Click the image and the "Open" button.

4. Save the card by clicking the "Save" icon on the Quick Access Toolbar. Print as many invitations as necessary.

Google Docs

1. Visit the Google Docs website (see resources below). Type "Invitation Cards." View the available graduation invitation cards. Download the graduation invitation card by clicking the "Use This Template" button.

2. Highlight the default text and type your own personalized graduation message. Include details like your school's graduation address and time.

3. Add your own image by deleting the default template. Delete the image by clicking the image and pressing the "Delete" key on the keyboard. Search your computer for the image you want to use. Click the image and the "Open" button.

4. Save the card by clicking the "Save" icon on the Quick Access Toolbar. Print as many invitations as necessary.

Zazzle

1. Visit the Zazzle website (see resources below). Type "Graduation Invitation Cards." View the available graduation invitation cards. Click the invitation card template that you want to use.

2. Add your personalized text in step one. Type the message that will appear on your invitation card. Include the time, location and address in the provided spaces.

3. Add your own image by clicking the "Change" button in the "Image" section. Browse your files and locate the image you want to use on your invitation. Click the image and the "Open" button.

4. Change the quantity in the "Quantity" section and select "Add to Cart." Click "Proceed to Checkout" to buy your customized senior graduation invitation cards.

5. Click the "Sign-Up" button to create an account with Zazzle and complete your purchase. If you are already a Zazzle customer, click "Login." Add your credit card and shipping information so your cards can be shipped to your address.
