How to Change Controls in "Double Dragon Forever"

Double Dragon Forever is a loving tribute to the original arcade classic, Double Dragon. Emulators and arcade stands have made it easier than ever to enjoy retro games. As these games are available on a number of different formats, it is important to configure the controls to suit your game play set-up.

Instructions

Download and run Double Dragon Forever 

1. Download the configuration files (see Resources). Unzip the configuration files.

2. Install the game.

3. Run through the opening instructions and select Abandon.

Configure the commands 

1.  The screen should give you the option of which player to configure controls for: Player 1, Player 2 or Player 3.

2. Select the player you want and the instructions on the screen will say, "Press the Key You Want To Use For Up". Select the key.

3. Follow the rest of the instructions for Down, Left, Right, Kick/Left Attack, Jump, Punch/Right Attack, Kick/Left Special, Headbutt, Punch/Right Special, Style Change, Credit, Pause and Screenshot

4. Repeat for any other players.

5. Save & Exit. Save again

6. The game should now run with your instructions in place. Follow on-screen instructions and start playing Double Dragon Forever with your own control configurations
