How to Remove AutoDesk Deployment Images
AutoDesk Deployment Images are used by administrators to create custom installations of AutoDesk 3D graphics products. These custom installations ensure that all users in a company are operating with the same version of the software product and have access to the same scripts, custom plugins, directions and sample files. Many AutoDesk applications can be configured to automatically update to the latest deployment image using a script configured by an administrator. You can remove AutoDesk Deployment Images at any time and should make a habit of doing so for outdated images.

1
Open the "Start" menu, type "Explorer.exe" and press "Enter."
-
2
Click the navigation bar at the upper-left corner of the screen and then type a network path, such as "\\fileserver\autodesk\update." Replace this path with the deployment location. If you are unsure, check "DplyHstry.txt" in the "C:\AutoDesk\DeploymentWizard" folder for the last saved location
-
-
3
Right-click your deployment image. It will be an executable file named "<Product>_Deployment_CURRENT.exe" where "<Product>" is the name of the AutoDesk software application. Click "Rename" or "Delete."
-
4
Type a new name for the file if you are renaming it. This will stop users from automatically updating to this version while still making it available. Click "Yes" to delete the file entirely, making it unavailable to anyone but you.
