How to Make a Non-Stop Music CD

Save

If you love music, you likely enjoy creating your own CDs. By doing so, you can listen to a CD only containing your favorite songs. Although most burning software automatically inserts a two-second gap between songs during the burning process, this gap can be easily removed to create a nonstop music CD.

Media Player

  • Click "Start" located at the lower left of your desktop.

  • Select "All Programs" followed by "Windows Media Player."

  • Click "Switch to Library" located in the top right corner.

  • Select "Burn."

  • Select "Burn Options."

  • Select "More Burn Options."

  • Click "Burn CD Without Gaps."

  • Load a CD-R disc into your computer via the CD drive.

  • Locate the songs in the library, then slide the items from the "Details Field" to the "Burn List" field.

  • Select "Start Burn."

ITunes

  • Launch iTunes, then click "Edit."

  • Select "Preferences."

  • Select "Advanced."

  • Select "Burning." A "Gap Between Song" pop-up menu launches.

  • Change the setting to no gap from the menu.
