CPR certification is required to be a lifeguard.

Having a certification in CPR, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, is a requirement to work in most health-related fields. Being CPR-certified is also a huge advantage on a resume when you are applying for positions like childcare, teaching, or any other public service career. Most CPR certifications require you to take a class which is several hours long, as well as passing a hands-on examination. You can save many hours by studying, taking your examination and getting certified online.
