How to Tie Down a Sand Rail
A sand rail is a dune-buggy type vehicle with a high-output motorcycle engine or car engine in the rear. This vehicle is made for driving on sand flats or dunes in the desert. Sand rails have open frames. Commonly no body is installed on these vehicles.

Drive the sand rail onto the bed of the tow trailer. Make sure that the sand rail is in the center of the trailer for balance.

Connect one strap to each side of the front frame. Connect the opposite ends of the straps to the frame of the trailer and tighten them until no slack is present in the straps.

Connect one strap to the right rear axle and connect the opposite end of the strap to the rear left side of the trailer. Repeat for the left rear axle so that the straps form an "X" shape. Tighten the straps and place the transmission into first gear.
