Once candle wax dries and hardens, it becomes very difficult to remove from any surface, including marble. Marble is used in candle holders and fireplaces and could easily get splattered with wax. If you know the correct technique to use, removing the wax completely from the marble is possible with just a few simple household items.
Things You'll Need
- Piece of cloth
- Soft cloth
Heat up a clothes iron on a high heat setting.
Place a piece of cloth that you don't mind ruining over the affected area on the marble.
Place the iron over the cloth. The wax will melt and absorb into the cloth.
Buff away any oily traces of wax with a soft cloth.
