  • 4 tbsp. to 1/4 cup powdered dish-washing detergent
  • 1/2 cup bleach

Instructions

      Fill the Jacuzzi bathtub with hot water -- about 140 degrees Fahrenheit -- in temperature until full.

      Add 4 tbsp. to 1/4 cup powdered dish-washing detergent and 1/2 cup household bleach.

      Turn on the water jets and let them run for 10 to 15 minutes.

      Drain the bathtub.

      Refill the bathtub until full with cold water to rinse the detergent and bleach residue.

      Spray a mild, non-abrasive liquid bathroom cleaner onto the surface of the bathtub.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't use an abrasive cleaner on the Jacuzzi bathtub because it could cause scratches.

  • Avoid using oil-based bath soaps or additives, such as bubble baths, in the Jacuzzi bathtub because the whirlpool action will cause extra foaming, possibly causing the residue to stick to plumbing.
