How to Add to iGoogle
Launched in May of 2005, iGoogle is a user-customizable website that allows users to control the information they receive, with the use of "Gadgets." From videos and news to weather forecasts and social networking updates, an iGoogle Web page creates a unique interface for each user. Fortunately, you can add new gadgets to your iGoogle Web page in just a few clicks.

Navigate to the iGoogle homepage. (See Resources.) If this is your first time visiting iGoogle, you will be prompted by a window titled, "Create Your Own Homepage in Under 30 Seconds."

Select what your interests are from the provided list of "Interests" Google has created to form the basic structure of your iGoogle Web page.

Select from the provided "Themes." The theme you select will set the color scheme for your iGoogle Web page.

Scroll to the top of your iGoogle Web page and now look at the iGoogle banner at the top of the Web page. Click the "Add stuff" link under the search bar. This link will lead you to the page where you will add new "Gadgets" to your iGoogle home page.

Navigate for gadgets by the three following methods: First, there is a "Category" section in the left column that you can use to navigate for new Google Gadgets. In the center column, there are featured Google Gadgets you may choose, and in the right column, there is a search box titled, "Search for Gadgets;" use this to look for specific gadgets you want for your iGoogle page. For example, if you want to find a gadgets that supplies quotes by President Obama, you will click in the "Search for Gadgets" text field and type "Obama Quotes," then Click "Search." Once you find an "Obama Quotes" gadget you want, look under the gadget's photo and click, "Add it now." You have now added the gadget to your iGoogle Web page.
