How to Find Your Unit Identification Code

A unit identification code is a number used by the United States Navy College to identify different units in service. You can look up your UIC on the Navy College website provided you know the location of the unit. Finding a unit identification code will take about five minutes to complete.

  • Go to the Navy College website.

  • Click the drop-down menu on the right and select your location.

  • Click "Go."

  • Click "UICs served by this NCO."

  • Find your unit's UIC in the list provided.
