How to Do a 360 Skid on a Green Machine
Huffy Corporation's Green Machine has been entertaining children 6 and older for decades. It's an alternative to a traditional bicycle for kids who have outgrown their tricycle or just want something different. While keeping the basic three wheel design, the Green Machine has a long wheel base and rear wheel steering system. These features allow riders to perform a variety of spins and other maneuvers, including a full 360 skid.

1
Accelerate to your maximum velocity on the Green Machine. You must go fairly fast to complete a 360-degree spin.
-
2
Move the directional levers quickly in opposite directions once you have reached your target velocity. Centrifugal force will naturally skid you into a 180-degree spin.
-
-
3
Shift as much of your weight as possible toward the inside of the spin. You may need to do this a few times to get the feel of it, but you should be able to skid all the way around into a 360 with practice.

Tips & Warnings
Perform this maneuver on a straight, smooth surface without any motor vehicle traffic. A sidewalk, long driveway, or empty parking lot will work well.
The amount of friction between the Green Machine's tires and the surface you are riding on play an important part in doing this spin. You will be able to skid farther on a smoother surface.
Wetting the surface or riding after a rainfall may also help.
Always wear a safety helmet when riding your Green Machine. It is common for the vehicle to flip over when attempting advanced tricks, particularly at high speeds.
Always be on the look out for motor vehicles and pedestrian traffic when riding.
