How to Remove Rust From a Harmonica

A harmonica is a small hand-held musical instrument. The harmonica creates music when a person blows into the harmonica's reeds. Because of the moisture from the breath, a harmonica is prone to interior rusting. But keeping the harmonica clean and rust-proof is possible.

Things You'll Need

• Old toothbrush
• Toothpaste

Instructions

1. Scrub away any rust with a small toothbrush. This gets right of light rust.

2. Put a little toothpaste on the brush. Brush the rusty areas of the harmonica.

3. Run the harmonica under lukewarm water to clean away the toothpaste.

4. Shake the harmonica to dry it out. Place it on a paper towel with the holes downward to dry the harmonica completely.
