How to Locate a Traffic Violator School

Traffic violator school, otherwise known as traffic school, is a basic course in traffic and driving safety that is offered by private entities to satisfy minor traffic citations. Traffic schools are approved by the state or a local municipality, and approved traffic schools will satisfy court-ordered pretrial diversion programs designed to prevent traffic citations from adversely affecting your driving record. You can find a locally-approved traffic violator school by searching a national database, checking with the court that issued your traffic ticket or by finding a national traffic school.
