How to Adjust Fonts in a Printer

Fonts are software components use to display a certain typeface, or typography, in documents. Computer programs such as word processors and desktop publishing applications allow you to adjust or change fonts to make the text in your documents or presentations more presentable or suitable to your specific application. Adjusting or changing fonts in an application not only changes text on the computer screen; it also changes how the text appears on printed documents. Therefore, if you want to change the fonts used when printing documents, you must change them first in the software used to create the documents.
