How to Link Humminbird GPS Units
Humminbird's GPS navigation devices are geared for the fishing lifestyle. A variety of the company's GPS units are capable of performing sonar, navigational and depth-finding duties, and also allow you to connect even more accessories via "Y" cable for even more functionality. If you have a buddy who's along for the ride and he has a Humminbird with superior waypoints or fish identification capability, for instance, you can connect the two Humminbirds for dual functionality.

Tips & Warnings
Use an SD card to load the data from the new device on your Humminbird. Press "Menu" twice on the new Humminbird device as it's powering on. This will access the main menu. Use the right directional button to enter the "Navigation" tab. Insert an SD card into the device's card slot, and then scroll down with the directional wheel and choose "Export All Nav Data." Press the right navigational button and this will save waypoints, routes and tracks to the card. Remove the card after it's fully loaded, and then turn off your other unit. Insert the loaded SD card into the slot on the other device, then power on with more data on board.
