How to Make Plywood Worktops

Things You'll Need
- Two 3/4-inch plywood, 30 inches wide by 36 inches long
- Four 3/4-inch plywood, 3 inches wide by 30 inches long
- One box 1/2-inch screws
- Drill
- Phillips head drill bits
- Tape measure
- Two door hinges
- Four small hinges

Place two sections of 30-by-36-inch plywood side by side, pressing the 30-inch edges of each wood piece against each other.

Measure in 4 inches from each corner along the joining 30-inch edges. Attach one door hinge at each 4-inch mark with 1/2-inch screws to join the two wood pieces together.

Place four 3/4-inch plywood, 3 inches wide by 30 inches long, side by side on a flat surface. Attach one small hinge with 1/2-inch screws to one end of each section of plywood. Half of the hinge should be hanging off the end to allow the base to attach to the legs.

Place one 3/4-inch plywood, 3 inches wide by 30 inches long, on each outer corner of the joined 30-by-36-inch sections of wood. One should be placed at each outer corner with the hinge facing toward the center of the wood.

Drive one 1/2-inch screw through each hinge hole to join the legs to the table base.

Fold the legs inward and fold the table top in half to store the table.
