How to Become Rich & Famous

There is no guaranteed way to become rich or famous, much less both. Many people become rich and famous by following different paths in life. People who follow the same path may achieve different levels of fame and fortune. Despite the lack of guarantees when you seek fame and fortune, there are steps you can take to increase your chance of finding fame, fortune or both. By applying some of these strategies in your own life, you may be able to find the money and celebrity status you want to achieve.

1. Write a list of things you're good at, along with careers that fit your talents. If you're looking for both fame and fortune, consider careers that are conducive to fame and fortune. Some of these careers are sports, acting, writing and playing music. Inventing something that becomes widely used or attracts media attention is another possibility. Your odds of becoming rich and famous working on cars are not very good, but if you work on cars belonging to celebrities, you may have a better chance of finding fame and fortune, especially if your talents are featured in magazines and on TV.

2. Perfect the skills you need for whatever career you've chosen to pursue to achieve your fame and fortune. It's important that you are the best you can be at what you do. Excelling at your craft, whether its acting, writing, singing or creating art, will be important to achieving your overall goals. While it's not impossible to become rich and famous if your talents are mediocre, being exceptional at what you do makes it more likely you will achieve the recognition necessary to obtain fame and fortune.

3. Market yourself at every opportunity. Use the Internet and any means you can think of to put your name and talents in front of the public eye. This is called branding, which essentially means turning your name into a publicly recognized brand. This is an important element for creating the fame you're after.

• Expect to work hard at what you do. Fame and fortune don't come overnight. Giving up on your dreams at the first sign of hardship will not get you to your goals. Sticking to your dreams and pursuing them in the face of challenge will eventually pay off.
