How to Clean the Ultra-Guard All-Sport Mouthguard
The Ultra-Guard All-Sport Mouthguard is a one-piece plastic device that protects the teeth and gums of individuals playing sports. The device is specially designed for individuals with braces. It contains a helmet strap for connecting the device to a facemask and shock-absorbing tabs that help dissipate impact to the mouth and lower jaw. Like other sporting devices and supplies, you need to clean the Ultra-Guard All-Sport Mouthguard after each use to keep bacteria from forming on the device.
Things You'll Need
- Cold water
- Nonabrasive toothpaste
- Soft-bristle toothbrush
- Soft, lint-free cloth or towel
- Plastic container or plastic box

Rinse the Ultra-Guard All-Sport Mouthguard under cold running water to remove any loose food fragments and debris.

Apply 1 tbsp. of nonabrasive toothpaste to one side of the mouthguard. Scrub both sides of the device gently with a soft-bristle toothbrush.

Rinse the device thoroughly under cold running water. Dry the mouthguard with a soft, lint-free cloth or towel.

Store the device a plastic container or plastic box.

Tips & Warnings
Before using the Ultra-Guard All-Sport Mouthguard again, moisten it with cold water then insert it into your mouth.
Do use hot water to moisten or clean your Ultra-Guard All-Sport Mouthguard -- hot water can distort the plastic device.
