How to Customize a BlackBerry Bold
The BlackBerry Bold includes numerous customization options to help set your smart phone apart from the fray. For instance, you can change your ring tone, customize your home screen, set a phone theme or change your wallpaper. The Bold comes with various preloaded tools to help accomplish these tasks. For instance, you can use the phone's digital camera to take a photo and set that picture as your background. You can also select among dozens of built-in alerts and themes.

Highlight the home screen icon you wish to move.

Push "Menu."

Choose "Move."

Drag the icon with the trackpad.

Change Tones

Choose "Sounds and Alerts Profiles" from the Bold's "Home" screen.

Select "Change Sounds and Alerts."

Choose the profile, such as "Normal" or "Silent," you wish to make the changes for.

Choose the type of notifier you wish to change, such as "Ring Tone" or "MMS."

Highlight a tone to preview it.
