How to Set Up Your Yamaha Apx Guitar
All guitar players have one thing in common that they look for in a guitar: A good sound. String the guitar, if strings are not on the guitar when purchased. Consult a music professional about what strings are best for the Yamaha Apx guitar.

Tune the guitar with a guitar tuner or to a piano. Match string one with a low E, string two with the A above that, string three with the D above the A, string four with the G above that, string five with the B above that, and finally string six with the E above that.

Select the amplification and balance. Yamaha Apx guitars are equipped with volume, bass and treble pickups controls. Play around with the settings to find the desired levels.

Maintain the condition of the guitar by keeping it in a case whenever it is not in use, and tune the strings each time before playing.
