Instructions

    • 1

Open a Web browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari and open the "Contact Us" or "Support" Web page of the company from which you purchased the Viewsat receiver.

    • 2

Follow the RMA (Return Material Authorization) request procedure outlined on the "Contact Us" or "Support" page to request an RMA number. In most cases, you will be directed to call a telephone number or fill out an online RMA request form. In either case, you must provide the serial number of the Viewsat receiver (which can be found on the bottom of the receiver) and have a copy of the order receipt available.

    • 3

Make a copy of the original order receipt. Pack the Viewsat receiver into a heavily padded box (the original box is best) and include a note with the RMA number, a description of the problem with the receiver, your name and address, original order number and copy of the order receipt inside the box. Write the RMA number on the outside of the box using an indelible ink marker.

    • 4

Ship the Viewsat immediately certified or registered with a tracking number using a shipping carrier that offers signature receipt and tracking, such as UPS, Federal Express, DHL or the U.S. Postal Service.
