How to Make a Printable Meal Plan
Making a meal plan is a great way to keep on track if you are dieting or just trying to stay healthy. It's easier to have everything planned out than to think of something at the last minute. If you are organized and meals are planned it is possible to cook a healthy meal in the family kitchen instead of heading off to a fast food joint. This is also an excellent way to get children on a schedule. They will be less fussy when it comes to meal time because they know what to expect. Does this Spark an idea?

Search the Internet for a template for a printable meal plan. Having a template is easier than designing one. If unable to find a template they can be easily designed.

Open Excel on the computer. Start by adding Sunday-Saturday in the "Descending" Columns and breakfast lunch dinner and snacks in the "across" columns. Customize any number of columns by clicking on the "more columns" selection.

Customize by adding pictures, borders, themes, as well as different fonts and colors (if your printer has colored ink). Save the template after finished customizing the outside portion of the meal plan.

Start with Sunday and Breakfast. Use your meal plan list to add in what is planned to cook or have for breakfast all week. Do the same for lunch, being sure to add everything down to condiments. If there will be a"mid afternoon snack "do the same for that, as well as Dinner.

Save the template in case you want to print multiple copies. Simply delete all entries and redo for next week or month depending on how far you are planning ahead. Print the template. Add the paper into the printer. Check and make sure that the template is within printing range. This can be easily adjusted under print preview. Print off the menu plan by hitting the printer icon, or by going to the "file" then "print" option in the left hand upper side of the toolbar.
