If the retailer will not give you a refund, contact the manufacturing company directly to see if it will replace the faulty electronic.
Always check a store's return policy before you make an electronic purchase. Knowing the return policy beforehand can save you time and trouble if the item doesn't work.
Make purchases with your credit card and you may be able to file a dispute with the credit card company to return the merchandise. Before you can file a dispute, though, you have to try to return the item to the merchant first. If it turns you down, contact your credit card company.
