How to Filter Sites & Block Them
If you want to block some Internet sites and filter them out from being viewed on a particular computer, you can do so using native controls inside of the native program Internet Explorer. This can be an effective method to keep minors from accessing content on the Internet that could be inappropriate or dangerous for them to view without any adult supervision.

Click "Start" on the Windows desktop and select "Internet Explorer."

Click the "Tools" menu, and a submenu appears. Select "Internet Options."

Select the "Security" tab in the new window. Click "Restricted sites" on the right side of the tab. Click the "Sites" button. A new window appears.

Enter the website address for any site you'd like to block and filter from being viewed. Click the "Add" button. Click "Apply" to begin blocking and filtering your chosen sites.
