How to Find Owners of Silver Eagle Motorcoaches

The Eagle coach first hit the road in the early 1950s, after the American Continental Trailways Co. began a four-decade relationship with Karl Kassbohrer's German bus manufacturing company. The result was a signature-looking bus and private motor coach called the Silver Eagle. Though Greyhound bought American Trailways in 1987, eventually ceasing Silver Eagle production in 1990, the Silver Eagle Bus Manufacturing Co. sprouted in 2005, continuing the line anew from Gallatin, Tennessee. More than 8,000 Silver Eagle buses were made during the original production run, and many have been, and are still being, modified into luxury motor coaches. If you're the type to look for communion with other Silver Eagle owners, it shouldn't be hard to find some.

Instructions

    • 1

Search for other Silver Eagle owners online. The first Resources link for Silver Eagle owners leads to a site with information about emailing photos of your Silver Eagle to be posted on the site. This lets owners peruse different modifications that have been performed throughout the world, and mingle with other owners, who are asked to include email addresses with their photos.

    • 2

Contact Silver Eagle at 615-346-9303 to inquire about annual rallies. Photos are available at the Resources link of the Eagle Rally 2007. A sales representative should be able to tell you when and where upcoming rallies are taking place.

    • 3

Find other owners at Eagles International, a worldwide group of Eagle owners associated with the Family Motor Coach Association. You must be an owner or dealer to join this group, as well as a member of the FMCA. (See Resources.) It costs $30 for new members, and $10 to renew every year. Membership gains you access to hundreds of other owners, as well as updates on upcoming rallies across the globe.

    • 4

Find Silver Eagle owners near you by accessing the resources spelled out above or by searching in your Web browser for "Silver Eagle and" the major city nearest you. This may yield Eagle motor coach owners in your area who are trying to sell their vehicles, or just proud owners looking to show off.
