How to Help Your Child Get Along with New Friends
Kids tend to be shy when meeting new friends for the first time. Children who do not know each other do not always think of each other's feelings. You can teach your little ones to share and play nicely with other kids. Once you teach your kids manners and etiquette, they will be more receptive to meeting new friends.

1
Teach your kids to share. Sharing toys, video games and even snacks helps teach children to be fair when playing with new friends.
-
2
Teach your children to ask other kids if they can join a game instead of pushing their way in. When your child asks permission to play a game, it teaches them to be polite with other children instead of attempting to control the game and ending up in a fight.

-
3
Teach your kids to suggest ideas of games or an activity to do with one another. This helps make sure that everyone has an opinion in what they will be doing.
-
4
Teach your children to discuss alternatives to doing something if one person does not like the way things are going. This helps to include everyone in the activity and ensure that everyone is having fun.
-
5
Teach your children to be a good loser when playing competitive games. Discuss with them that winning is not everything and that teamwork and having fun are what a game is about.
