How to Create a Backup Image With Ghost
Norton Ghost is a backup and restore utility that lets you back up your entire computer, selected hard drives or specific files and folders. The installation CD doubles as a bootable CD that allows you to restore your entire computer even if you cannot boot into your operating system. When you install the software, you may want to create a full backup image of your system drive and other important hard drives on your computer. You can create a Ghost image by following a few simple steps.

Open Norton Ghost and click "Tasks" on the left side of the main screen. Select "One Time Backup" from the list of tasks and click "Next."

Choose the drives that you want to add to your backup image and click "Next." Select a backup destination for your image and click "Next." Select any additional options that you want to use for your backup image and click "Next" to continue. Choose any optional command files you want to run in your backup file and click "Next."

Click "Finish" to make your backup image.
