How to Make a Bolero Tie Out of Lanyards
Bolero ties, also called bola or bolo ties, are neck wear traditionally associated with Western fashion. The tie is a basic design that can become quite elaborate in appearance depending on the taste of the wearer. The tie is composed of a long cord or lanyard, a clasp slides to hold the two tails of the lanyard together and tips to keep the lanyard ends from fraying. Lanyards are straps that can be made of virtually any material, including leather, which is common for bolero ties. The clasp is a piece of metal that has a decorative piece of jewelry glued to its front. The tips are pieces of metal attached to the tips of the lanyard. Does this Spark an idea?
