How to Download Music Using a GS Drive
Geek Squad flash drives provide portable, convenient storage for all kinds of files, including music. Store MP3s, AAC, WAV files and more on your GS drive. Do you have some songs you've been meaning to share with a friend, but don't own the CDs or don't want to carry them with you? Take your flash drive along and connect it to any computer with a USB port for easy sharing and transportation of your music files.

1
Connect your GS drive to one of your computer's available USB ports.

2
Find the music you want to download. Many online stores allow you to purchase music, either as albums or individual tracks. Some may occasionally offer free downloads as well, and many artists now offer free downloads.

3
Purchase or download the music. If you are prompted to choose a location for the files, select your GS drive and save the music onto it.

4
Search for where the music file went if you were not prompted to choose a location. Some media players may have a predesignated folder for downloads. If this happens, find and select the files you want to transfer to your GS drive and copy them. Select your GS drive, and paste the files into it. You can create folders for different artists or simply place them all in the root directory.
