Loose-leaf teas bring more aroma and flavor to the cup than teabags.

Many people are daunted by the prospect of brewing loose-leaf tea. Even those who have managed to overcome the cultural stereotypes of aristocracy and women in large hats often struggle to know exactly how tea should be made if it does not come in a single-serving bag. The Teaze Infuser is an answer to this dilemma. In just a few steps you could be on your way to brewing your own cup of loose-leaf tea. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Measure out the loose-leaf tea of your choice. Measure out 2 weight grams per serving, or roughly 1 tsp. Add the tea to the Teaze Infuser by lifting the lid and pouring the tea into the open container.

    • 2

Heat water to approximately 208 degrees Fahrenheit (the optimum temperature for brewing tea) and pour into the top of the Infuser. If you do not have a water thermometer, bring water to a boil and allow it to cool for approximately five minutes.

    • 3

Start your timer for three minutes as soon as the water touches the tea and you close the lid on the Teaze Infuser. For white or green tea, brew for one to two minutes. For herbal tea, brew for three to five minutes.

    • 4

Dispense your brewed tea into teacups. Simply lift the Teaze Infuser and place it on top of the cup. Tea will dispense from the bottom of the Teaze Infuser. There is no pouring involved. Your Teaze Infuser will hold approximately two cups of tea.

    • 5

Clean your Teaze Infuser by popping out the filter at the bottom. Rinse and wash the inside, or place it in a dishwasher.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not microwave or heat water inside your Teaze Infuser.
