How to Wire Wrap Post Earrings

Wire wrapping post earrings is an elegant craft that can help accessorize any outfit by allowing you to match your earring to your necklace, bracelet or clothing. You may choose to use any type of beads or stones you wish and as many as your want, but for simple style one bead on each post will make as much of a statement as numerous beads might.

Things You'll Need

• 2 inches of wire
• Round pliers
• 2 beads

Instructions

1. Cut a piece of wire 2 inches long.

2. Curve the tip of the wire with the round pliers. Wrap the wire four times around the curved tip of the pliers.

3. Place a bead on the wire making sure it rests on the coil.

4. Pinch the bead and hold it in place against the coil. Slide the earring post onto the wire.

5. Curve any remaining wire that you do not want to show with the round nose pliers.
