For a United States citizen, when it comes to voting day, it is essential to know in which district your address is located so that you know where to go to vote. There are a number of ways to find out your election district and your polling station address.

Instructions

1. Call your local County Clerk's office or visit your county's website to find out in which election district you are registered. You must provide the clerk with your address and zip code. Ask for the address of your polling place.

2. Visit the United States' Election Assistance website to look up your district by state. The State voter information pages provide links to each state's districts and polling places. They also contain a wealth of information regarding elections and voting.

3. Contact your local politicians' offices to learn your designated election district. You can find the phone numbers for your local politicians by visiting the U.S. Government's website and following the appropriate links.
